Eric Church Reveals Which George Strait Song Affects Him The Most

Eric Church learned a lot watching George Strait tour ends his career with The Cowboy Rides Away tour last year. Eric opened several shows on the tour, and the song that affected more in each concert was the Straits hit "Troubadour". The song tells of a singer still feeling young and vital even though they have much more time in the spotlight.

 

Eric tells Rolling Stone: "It was an emotional thing for me, to see what wraps up his career the way I wanted, I think in this song a lot when I'm on stage I going to be on this stage again Will..? a time when I will not be. My day will also come. "
